1:10. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದೆನು. ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಉಳಿಯಲಾರದಷ್ಟು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂಬುದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ನಾನು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ತೋಳಿನ ಕವಚವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಾನು ಆ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತೋಳಿನ ಕವಚವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

1:10. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇವನು ಬಿದ್ದ ತರುವಾಯ ಬದುಕಲಾರನೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದೆನು. ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಡಗ ವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆನು ಅಂದನು.

1:10. So I stood over him and put him to death, since I knew that he couldn't live in such a condition. Then I took the crown which was on his head and the bracelet which was on his arm. I have brought them here to my lord."
